Looking for 3-4" thick insulated aluminum panels, like you use for a sun room or patio cover. Anyone have a good source for these?

I would call T & C metals on Herman street. Of course that would be for new stuff which is pretty expensive. If you are doing a do it yourself cooler than you might look into ISO roofing foam. It is used on most all commercial buildings now days. You can get 4X8 sheets 2" thick for about twenty bucks. Call Brown and Heely on Masachusetts Ave.

Just about all new commercial construction uses the rigid Styrofoam insulation. They make 3" too, & tapered insulation for doing roof slopes. The tapered insulation that I've seen already had the metal on it. You just screw it to the zee purlins & eave channel.

What are you needing them for? If a walkin cooler I come across them fairly often. We've also built some awesome shooting houses out of the redline panels in the past. If it is a walkin be ready for outrageous power bill, especially with single phase equipment.

Walk in cooler is my project. Let me know if you see one you don't want and is a good price. Don't need the cooling part, just the structure. Something less than 10x10. Preferably a 6x8 or 8x8.

I'm fixing to have about a million dollars worth of them taken out and new ones installed. They won't be able to be put back together like they should but if you built somewhat of a structure to support them it would work. Not sure what time frame yet but when I find out I can let you know. The smallest ones with be 8' tall.
