Default Anyone come across any live crawfish yet?

I know it's still really too early in the season but has anyone come across live crawfish at a fish market yet? Stopped by Joe Patties and no luck. L and L is close till the end of next week. We are starting to feen for some mud bugs and can't wait much longer.

On Creighton Rd. leaving the mall headed toward 9th Avenue today, I saw a building on the right about 300 yards from Davis Hwy that said LIVE CRAWFISH!!! Looks like they were doing a walkway and fixing it up so I'd keep an eye on them!

I know several members go to LA and pick up bags of them. I'd love to get a 50 lb sack and stock a pond over here at the house w/ em!!!!

We get some from Cub's a couple times a month. You are right, they are the best in Pensacola!

Too small and too expensive to mess with just yet.
My brother, in LA, says even over there they are still over $3.00 / pound retail and the product is pretty much crap.

Give it a little while.

if you know where to get them from you can get them with some size in la... the price goes down after Easter due to lint being over and most of the state of la is catholic so this keeps the price up... i used to bring them home from work every other week to pay for my fuel.... dont have any connections were i'm working know....
