Default Anybody going to see Joe Bonamassa at the Saenger tomorrow night?

Was just wondering if there were any fans going. This is the child prodigy that was playing Hendrix and Vaughn note for note at 7 years old.... He's in his early 30's now and a master blues player....

Check him out..... This is a version of ZZ Top's "Just Got Paid Today"

Been looking forward to it big time! First saw him at Springfest ('06?) and was blown away. I have almost every CD, and play bass to the recordings (well, maybe 70% of them). He is a freaking monster on those 6 strings! Killer band as well. We had tickets for a show in Tallahassee last year, but it was cancelled!

Tickets are balcony first row center........YEHAW! You didn't say if you were going?????

Will be there at 4pm tomorrow........... Will be back stage for a meet and greet until the concert then Balcony right (got lucky with some connections)....... This is my first time seeing him in person, but also have most of his stuff and the DVD's....... I believe he is now carrying the torch that was once held by Hendrix and Vaughn.... What an incredible talent... Really looking forward to it.......... Maybe see you there... Tight lines and thanks for replying to the thread.......... Tom

Just got back from the meet and greet, then the concert..... I don't really know what to say... Had a nice conversation with him... Took some snaps, got some autographs, saw the show... One of the greatest guys you would ever want to meet. Then the show... I have seen over 200 concerts in my life and I have never used the words "Guitar God" ,,,,,,,,, Until now........... Unbelievable.............. ANYBODY that saw the show will agree.... Tight lines. T

PS will post some pics later if anybody is interested....

Yep. great show....of course! Only bummer was the sound quality (at least where we sat). Not the bands fault, but they need a different sound engineer for sure. The sound was WAY better last time I saw him.

Brilliant guitarist !! My favorite was the accoustic part, this guy is very talented, glad I went. Saw a few guitarist over the years that I consider some of the best: Larry Corryel/Aldi Meola/Paco deLucia/ Jeff Beck/Santana,Zappa, to me he is up there , thanks for turning me on to him.
