YEAH,

Maybe we can make this happen!!!!

First, thanks to jspoony for volunteering the site and PA!!! Where are you located???? What is your schedule like? I think YOU should call the shot on when (only right). You said you play a few instruments....which ones???

We need to find a day when we can get a whole band together....drums, bass, atLEAST 1lead guitar, and singer. So far the only position with only one member volunteering is vocals (blazerboy), so it would be pretty necessary to find a date he can make it? BB what's your schedule like? I'm real flexible, except for Feb. 24-28.

Other than that, we might want to pick a few relatively easy, well knownsongs ahead of time, so we'll all be at least a bit prepared. Ideas?

Brandon, it's all good....no bashing here! BUT....I don't think jspoony's neighbors would be too happy with that kind of music (LOL). As far as I'm concerned you are welcome (as long as you can play more mainstream stuff). It's all music (well almost). LOL again. I hope you can make it....and swap off with me.

So far the potential jammersare as follows:

VOCALS:

Blazerboy

GUITAR:

FenderBender

Buckethead

Tru-king

Surfstriker

Reel Crazy

DRUMS:

Capt. Brad King (not available until April)

BloodyWaters (as "volunteered" by Nextstep)

Tru-king

BASS:

Flounderpounder

BigBrandon

SAX:

jt

MISC. (the humor section)

Nextstep on cow bell (MORE COWBELL!)

JimT for a 1 note uke solo

Claydoh on the tequila bottle (I hear he's real good!)

P.S. We still need 3 or 4 hot lookin' female background singers! :angel

IF we can do this......let's leave the big ego's at home! Any more ideas??? Sugestions??? I hope this happens...it could be FUN! I'm sure there'll be some laughin' goin' on! It'll be a good chance to meet more PFF'ers as well!

Let's do it. Maybe Clay Doh could trade the bottle in for a jug like the Brisco Darling on the Andy Griffith show. Maybe some spoons and a washboard too.

BTW I only know Clay Doh from the forum.

BTW Spooney has been known to sing on occasion.

Let me know what songs so I can learn em if I don't know em already.

I'm down. Most of my gear is in storage, but I do have an amp that will do just fine over here, and a few guitars. You'll have to send me a PM with the details since I don't have a phone. Feb 27th and beyond, I will be busy every sinlgle one of those weekends with fishing tournaments, so... just let me know if this is sooner than later. And a jam is a jam, we don't need anything prepared, but if you want to, that's fine.

I talked with Don (Blazerboy) and we decided next Thursday would be a good place to start. That will give us a little over a week to get the word out but not so far off that we lose momentum. I am in Gulf Breeze proper. We can meet in the multi-purpose building at my church. Plenty of space, parking, outlets, seating, etc, and no worries about sound control or noise complaints. It also gives us the option of splitting into several smaller groups if we decide to do that. Also, we'll have immediate access to online lyrics and a printer should we need some help with any songs. I'll take care of all the mics, PA's, and any other stuff we need. Each musician needs to bring his instrument, an amp, and a chord to plug in. There is also plenty of space for people to just come and hang out if they want to. Don't know if you want to do food, but plenty of space for that as well. What do you think? I am in Gulf Breeze Proper at First Baptist Gulf Breeze. 555 Fairpoint Drive.

By the way, I play drums, bass, guitar and vocals. I'll run sound or just sit in where needed. Let's Jam. Also, I'm gonna get Dick Boyden to come jam with us. If you don't already know, he is the Guitar tech at Tringas and I love playing with him. He's the man on a guitar! Drummers, I have a Roland TD-20 drum kit, but if you want to bring your own kits feel free. Probably could use some percussion as well. Kids can play in the gym if someone can be in there to supervise. I'll need to double check the calendar to confirm the time, but I'm thinking around 6:30 or 7. End time is not an issue.

Sorry, I must have misunderstood. I thought you meant you weren't available after the 27th.

Dang! Like I said in my above post, I'm not available this Wed.-Sunday (family coming in to visit). Maybe next time! Sounds like the bass should be covered. Have a ball, and I should be able to make the next one, hopefully! Good work getting this thing started!!!!
