Any Avett Brothers fans here?
For our final shindig before my daughter leaves home to become an Army wife, I took her to Southaven, MS (just south of Memphis) to see them in concert. We got there early and managed to get in the front row an arms length from the stage.
This was my daughter's fifth AB concert and my first. I'm mad at myself for stubbornly eschewing their music and offers/pleas from the wife and daughter to go along with them for so many years, because now they're one of my favorite bands. My wife and daughter saw them years ago at The Wharf in Orange Beach before they were famous. |

We saw a band named ugly stick in Auburn years ago. They were pretty bad ass. Amazing the music you can find in little clubs and dives
