Default all warning lights on 93 montero

My husband replaced the alternator on my 1993 Montero.Right after he replaced it, all of my warning lights stayed on and continue to stay on.I have owned the vehicle for 15 years and this has never happened.I think it was the original alternator that he had to replace.Nothing seems to be wrong other than the warning lights staying on.(break)..(AT/temp) and (battery)are the warning lights that stay on now..Any ideas or suggestions?much appreciated!:confused

Check that all leads to the alternator have been reconnected correctly and are tight. Also, check alternator to ensure it is putting out a charge. You can take the car to any chain auto parts store (Pep Boys, Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, etc.) and they will check the unit for free. It only takes a few minutes.

That is what I think. It seems like something is not tight. When I go over a bumb for instance they go from light red to bright red.Took it to Advanced Auto, they said everything is charging fine.Thankyou for the reply

Sounds like a loose ground to me. Have him go over all of the connections he touched. Also check the ground strap to the body.
