thanks for the ifo. I worked for Sansing for 7 years and always questioned the amount of work we did especially on new body style blazers and S10's for clogged heater cores and radiator problems. I said back then it was due to that crap coolant!! I'll pass this on to a few people I know that spent a wad of cash to repair problems like these.

thanks for the news !

I try to convince my customers that you don't have to run dex-cool in there vehicles since there are formulas now that mix with any anti-freeze. Some dealerships are charging up to $20 per gallon for coolant, and people are paying because their owner manuals say not to use anything else .

I've heard of this problem for several years but this is the first time I've seen anything on the lawsuit.

I had to replace the engine ($5,000) on a 1999 Silverado at 93,000 miles due to a slung rod. The mechanic said it was due to anti-freeze getting into the intake manifold. But I don't see full-size trucks listed.
