Just got back to the hotel from the game and I have never had the experience at any stadium that I had tonight. People throwing shit at me and my 13 year old son, two guys wanting and trying to high five my son after each turnover or touchdown, bitch behind us hitting us both in the head with her pom poms and laughing about it. If that wasn't bad enough the whole way back to the truck getting cussed at and a few punks getting in our face. My advice is to get tickets in the visiting team section because it wasn't worth the trip up to have my son go through that crap. I've been to every stadium in the SEC except Miss State and Vanderbilt and this was ridiculous. Twenty years ago I would have been taken out in handcuffs.

I hate to hear that Rick, someone that would do that is a sorry excuse for a person. But I guess there are assholes fans everywhere Im just sorry you and your son had to witness that.

That's bad. Never heard anything like that about a bama game. Kinda hard to believe. Like Splittine said, no shortage of assholes in this world.

I've spent the last two SEC Championships partying the three days before the game and just after the game with some of the best people from both sides so I was as surprised as anyone that it happened. Hell we tailgated all day with great people at this game.

You're right it only takes a couple of drunks and two wanta be thugs to ruin it. I guess I can blame it on the Gators if they would have played better they wouldn't have been F'ing with us.....

They still would. Bama fans were 60-40 (60 percent clowns, 40 percent good fans) at the FSU-Bama game in Jacksonville. FSU won that game, and Bama fans were still talking smack afterward. There were way too many near fights around me that day, and I saw plenty at the landing before and after the game. I fully realize how bad FSU fans can get. I've had my own fans hit me in the head with nickels, batteries, etc. If you want to see the worst home fans, go to a UM game. They throw bags of piss n s***. Disgusting city. (Not all UM fans are bad either). I think people should take their kids to NFL games, not college games. I understand, you shouldn't have to put up with that crap at a college game, but when you've got 50,000 drunk 20 year olds, it is bound to happen no matter where you are.

Hey Rick, Johnny went to the game and was telling me how rude and ugly the Gator fans were, (before the game, he said they were mighty quiet afterwards!) It's about like everything else, there are idiots and good people everywhere. As you get older you learn to weed them out. (that means pick the bad one's out of the bunch if you are not a mason jar drinking inbred Bama fan!) LOL I thimk without the intercepted jump pass it might have been a different game, that turned the Tide (pun intended) We will probably see 'yall in Hotlanta! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well John I was probably in the "adult" section prior to the game and had a blast as usual. You know Johnny was probably right in the middle of the younger crowd...

You might be right about the jump pass but when your defense has to play against two offenses, ours and Bamas, it's going to be a long day.

I'll have tickets for Atlanta but the way we're playing I might be watching two teams I don't care much about.....
