I grew up a Bama and FSU fan, the older I got I strayed away from FSU but have always been a closet fan and still root for them but Bama comes first. I'm real excited about FSU these coming up years and would love for them to hand out pecker slaps to UF everytime they took the field together. I give it within 5 years and FSU will have another NC trophy. But not before they get pecker slapped from Alabama. Roll Tide.

UNF. After I got hurt I just picked the only state school my ex and I both were accepted. It's a very nice school and Jax was fun. I got free season tickets to the jags and my family owns a seafood place in St. Augustine so I had a great college job and more connections for fun. Miami didn't offer me for baseball and I didn't apply. My parents were the type that would not pay for college b/c they said it built character. Hints why I didn't apply for 50k + per year Miami. I have college paid for Zach b/c that way of thinking to me is b.s.

What's all the "we" crap? If you don't have a uniform and a helmet, it's "they." You're not on the team kids.

That said, it'll be neat when Clemson, FSU, Miami, et al join the SEC and the rest go Big East.

I graduated from FSU its "my" school. I will say "we", I went there, its a part of me, I attended class in the same buildings as all the FSU Football players do. I believe that you can say that if you spent your hard earned money at that institution.

WE have had season tickets to the Canes since the 80's. I know it annoys people but I'm not going to change. I don't see the point. Enen if you went to the school and played sports you can argue against the we thing. Let's say I didn't get hurt and took a scholarship to let's say UF and somehow turned into a stupid gaytor. I don't see how a baseball player earned the right to say we to the football program. To me a fan has more of a right.

The 2011 college rankings came out and if you SEC fans care about anything but football it hurt!

A big 1 school was represented in the top 50. Vanderbilt at 17th
UF continues it's slide to #58

Now for the ACC......

6 schools were represented

#10 Duke
#25 Virginia
#26 Wake
#29 UNC
#31 Boston College
#38 Miami

http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandre...rsities/spp+50

Here is a look at how many players were drafted to the NFL from each conference

We could look at draft picks to determine the strongest conference in college football. Here is the breakdown of the last five NFL drafts by conference.
  • SEC : 187
  • ACC : 184
  • Big 10 : 159
  • Pac-10 : 159
  • Big 12 : 148
  • Football Championship Subdivision : 90
  • Big East : 89
  • Mountain West : 61
  • Conference USA : 44
  • MAC : 44
  • WAC : 44
  • Division II : 25
  • Independents : 18
  • Sun Belt : 13
  • Division III : 4
  • Canada : 1
  • Community College : 1
  • NAIA : 1

3 players.... So should we send our kid to a SEC school or Acc school? I don't expect you SEC fans to figure this one out.....

Where'd you attend school? I ask because I don't know a single UF grad that doesn't refer to the team and school as "we".

You could. Or you could look at National Championships and actual games played on the field. All that the above tells me is that the ACC has god awful coaches. And who wants to play for garbage coaches in half empty stadium?

Florida.

2nd best value in the country. Just below UNC and above UVA.
