You will get milk, but you probably won't like the taste of it.

When I heard about this, I thought Taurus had lost their minds...until I saw one for the first time(picture of course). I wanted to be the first in line to get one after that. I and a lot of other people were wondering about the ATF ruling on it though. I sure would have liked to fire off a few rounds through it! On the flip side, has anyone laid eyes on the new .410/.45LC/.45ACP that Smith & Wesson has come out with? I believe it is called the "Governor". I think this one will be a must have.

Damn , I was all ready to buy the 28 Gauge as soon as I could.

The S&W Governor will be pretty much a more expensive short barreled Judge.

One Judge that is not offered on their website and is rare but can be had
Is a 3" Magnum Judge with 6 1/2" barrel.
I wear one on my farm in the summer time. the extra barrel and magnum charge does make a heck of a lot of difference and flips snakes up in the air or down range very well.

here is my wife's SS judge and my Magnum . both have 6 1/2" barrels
BTW the 45 Colt is a bad round when loaded right.

I carry three Magnum # 6 shot
and two Corbon
Caliber: 45 Colt Plus P
Bullet Wt.: 225gr Self-Defense DPX
Velocity: 1200fps
Energy: 720ftlbs

HisName...couple of really nice Judges you have there. You are right about the .45 Colt rounds. I have a T/C Contender with the .45/.410 barrel. I have made some really bad rounds with the .45 Colt that were really impressive. The only problem I had was finding the right brass to handle the loads. That is a very under rated round due to so many people using them for cowboy action and most factory loads are with lead round nose bullets. Great round though.

Well word is that Taurus has made nice with the ATF and the gun may be back in production.
