I mean seriously who wouldn't want one of these for ccw along with a fitted uncle mikes backpack holster that would read "now ill be the judge" no need to tuck it just throw the bag on your shoulder.......I need a job in marketing lol...... y'all member this post and the backpack holster is my original idea

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but word is Taurus has decided not to go ahead with production on this. They even pulled the prototype from the display at the SHOT show.

Taurus made the decision not to go to production with the 28 when the ATF made the ruling that it would be an AOW or DD classed weapon.

Any handgun has to have a bore under .50 cal and the 28 exceeds this.

I think Taurus was trying split hairs with the wording. The ATF paperwork said something like "...and fires a projectile under .50..."

Truthfully, the whole concept is not unlike trying to hook up an automatic milking machine to a bull, in my opinion. It's gonna either piss off the bull or make him smile alot but either way you aren't gonna get any milk.

That cannon resembles one of the guns that was featured in "The Mask" with Jim Carrey only this is the real McCoy!
