Default 1 fish air bladder - $100,000

The same Asian "magic medicine" market that is responsible for driving the Rhino to the brink of extinction is also responsible for the extinction of the Vaquita dolphin in South America, whose numbers are estimated at less than 60 left, as an unintentional secondary kill in the nets used to catch Totoaba bass for their air bladders. The Chinese markets are structured in such a way that they will sell something until the animal that produces it literally goes extinct.
And any other specie unfortunate enough to be in the way. And all over a product whose use is steeped in holistic myth.

Yea I saw that last night. Same reason that we loose salmon on the west coast and the NE coast. They will not obey any fishing rules. I am not sure but someone may know how they effect the Gulf coast.

Too bad there's no use for no-see-um's in holistic medicine!

I guess they are rare in South America, since they only exist in the Sea of Cortez in the northern end of the Baja Peninsula.

Looks like they only have about 3 years left before total extinction.
