Default *Any Liquid Diet Suggestions?*

My jaw will be wired shut for the next 6 weeks so I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for meals through the blender. I have been drinking smoothies, shakes, carnation instant breakfast, etc. but it is just not cutting it. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Spencer

Funny but not helpful. I have 41 more days until I can eat solid food so I need some ideas to hold me over until then.

Can you get mashed potatoes down. Maybe thinned a little with some milk. It would probably be more filling Just and idea. Never had my jaws wired shut, but thinking about wisdom teeth being cut out.

I broke my jaw once, it sucked because I am skinny like you and lost even more weight. Strawberry hulk smoothies from smoothie king are about the only way to do it and not wither away, 1000 calories a pop just for a 20 oz and they taste good.

You might be able to suck spaghetti o's through the gao in your top and bottom teeth, that worked for me a little as well. I feel for you man, that really sucks.

Make sure you always have a pair of dykes handy to cut the wires in case you have to puke for any reason, I was always afraid that would happena nd I would asphyxiate on my own vomit. Not a good way to go unless you're a rock star, ha ha
