Where do people usually ski around here? Water quality and depth big concerns. I usually launch from navy point. Thanks for the help!

We normally went in escambia river and launched from the swamp house.

On the water quality issue, I am sure you have seen the news where pcola has the worst water in the entire universe. I grew a 3rd nut wakeboarding in escambia river for 2 years...

Somewhere I am not fishing. Stay out of the channel. Stay off the flats. Go early(daybreak) avoid the wind. Try santa rosa sound since I moved away from there, my ex wife wont mind since she dont fish.

I went to River for fathers day weekend and had a blast even though others were scared to take part. There is not alot of options around here for skiing. grande is usually good later in the afternoon towards dusk. Anyone worried about water quality in Pcola should avoid all waters.

I know, water quality isn't the best, but you can usually find some decent water in there. Occasionally some tube pullers come in and do a good job of screwing the water up, but I am sure they say the same thing about me wakeboarding/surfing

No issues health wise - yet.

Thats brave or crazy.. They just closed texar for high bacteria levels.

Launch at Lillian, right over bridge, head north under bridge and ski coast, flat water and not a lot of boat traffic, lived over there for 16 years. Perdido Bay and not deep at all. Have fun and stay safe.
