Default Weird redfish

Someone I know caught this red last night. Seems to have a bad case of scoliosis but it does have a cool heart spot. What could cause this? Doesn't appear something took a bite of it.

I know this is nitpicking our little fish friend but that would actually be called a lordosis not scoliosis. Just saying.
