Default Weekend red fishing mobile bay

In a few weeks coming down to mobile bay wanting to catch some good redfish... would I be better to go to dixie bar or stay up around causeway? And is it better fishing top or bottom right now? And what about the tide, is it better to catch them on tide rushing or tide falling out?.. still very new to fishing bay, only fished it once. And don't know my way around very well. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions given.

I haven't heard of many caught in the upper bay right now. But, a buddy of mine and his aunt and uncle have been going to Mobile street off Fort Morgan road and all the way at the end of fort morgan road on the left. They have been limiting out on Pompano. Catching all the whiting they want, and they have caught several slot reds. They only go at daylight and are usually gone by 9am. Using fresh dead shrimp and some sand fleas.
