Jeez. That would of been one scary 14 hours. Just waiting to see what comes first. A boat or Katherine.

Fell off the transome (both) while the boat was running forward? He's a charter boat captian? What's up with that since it does not have autopilot. Go figure! Well whatever the real story is...they will both become great witnesses for God!

I'll never wear a PFD while fishing. I've never seen any adult do it outside of coast guard and NMFS officers. I would say don't everybody fall off a moving boat. That would be more realistic advice.

They weren't too thrilled to be on TV. I wear an inflatable when I am by myself. I don't see how BOTH fell out.

Never used to wear a PFD when I was Young & Dumb until a marlin dam near pulled me in when I grabbed his bill trying to land him by my self out of San Diego years ago. (sometimes even SEALs dont show up when they say they will).
Now I wont step on a boat without my inflatable sospenders.

I also wear an inflatable suspender pfd with a handheld epirb attached. Have known of too many in my lifetime who didn't survive overboard and at 62 i'm just too young to go that way. They just had suspenders online on sale at West Marine. Feels much better than the bulky orange ones.
