So it's generally some undetermined number or tide phases to get the salinity back up? Are they a natural filter/cleaner/purger to "de-freshwater" the bay or something? This must be tough on the diving community too. How far out past the pass do we need to go to get out of the coffee?

Water on the beach in the Gulf cleared up dramatically overnight, based on the strong north winds. Amazingly green water on the beach. West winds filling over the weekend may reverse it, but real pretty on the beach today.

Good to know. Thanks for the report. Interesting that the north wind directly affects in such a way.

The inshore water looked like sweet tea just a out every trip I made last summer in orange beach. When I went down in the winter, it looked like the Caribbean . Keep in mind I'm in my boat one weekend each month.

Meaning that your frame of reference is all-inclusive or less than all-inclusive? Trying to catch your drift on why I'm keeping that in mind. Thanks
