Keeping an eye on this one, still planning on fishing offshore this weekend, but that could change if this thing speeds up

Today after the 11am update first time they mentioned a possible AL/FL border land fall

Crown Weather has been talking about it since yesterday evening.

It is the best site IMO for tropical weather. Very concise and a little more detail than you find elsewhere. He's on Facebook also, he'll post things there before they hit the website.

If it doesnt make the northward move within the next 12-24 hours, and continues due west, watch for them to shift the track west again and put it right up out butt crack. Wouldn't be surprised if it reaches Cat 3 strength before landfall if it ends up in the gulf withought going over much land first.
