Default Vitamin Sea distress call?

Anyone know what was going on with Vitamin Sea? Coast guard was relaying distress and trying to get a response. 30 miles out, sounded like they were out past the edge. Hope everything is ok. Great outfit.

We saw them yesterday afternoon near the elbow. They were running southwest and then came to a quick halt. We saw the crew in the cockpit looking at something in the water directly behind them. We were close enough that they could have waved us over if they were in distress. About two hours later coast guard came up on us. They said Vitamin Seas EPIRB had deployed. We were speculating that their life raft deployed accidently. At 7:30 we came into the pass alongside the coast guard boat. We never heard how it ended. Hopefully it was a false alarm.

It was a false alarm. He didn't even know it was activated.

I watched that boat come in the inlet around 4pm yesterday and nothing appeared wrong. Nice boat. I was paying attention to the name of it to figure out what it was. 35 Resmondo in case you're wondering.
