I have chartered a few times. The fog is the thing you have to worry about. It gets bad enough that they will cancel charters over river fog. We had a boat follow down the river one time. Maybe an option to line up if you need to. Fishing is great.
Real Estate ? I can help with that!

Awesome fishery. Like already stated, fog can be a factor. Other than fishing, nothing to do in Venice, not many places to eat. Don't rule out Grand Isle. A little farther to the midnight lump, but places to fish without a long run. Lots of rigs close in, usually not the fog like Venice. A bit less ship/work boat traffic too. More places to eat. (important to me).

So, what is close as for rigs? Would it be feasible to take your own sled? Anyone have some numbers or could they be public on line? Campgrounds?

Shoot, I'll hijack the thread to find out more....always been interested too FIRST THERE!!!
