Default Utility Trailer???

I need a utility trailer to pull my Ranger Crew plus a couple of implements. Probably at least an 18' tandem with drop gate. Any recommendations are appreciated for brand and companies to consider.

Everything I have found used is a rust bucket. I know there are several companies around town, Rocky's, Ed's Aluminum, Skippers, etc. I've seen the Big Tex and while they look well built, they even start to rust while on the dealers lots. I guess with a steel trailer, that's what you are gonna get.

Thanks!

I have heard good things about Eddie English trailers, they are located on hwy 90 between Pace and Milton.

They can build to what you need.

Your gonna find the reg. surface rust on a non-painted trailers.. We have 4 trailers at work all 16ft or bigger and they have some surface rust from where we've thrown chains and straps around the support bars... If you get a new one just spray it with some rust preventer or something to that effect..

You get what you pay for and you do not get both low price and high quality.

If rust is a problem then maybe you should shop for an aluminum trailer. There is a dealer near the southwest corner of Blue Angel and Saufley Field Road.

But your going to be spending alot more $$ for an aluminum trailer versus the same in steel.

Over in Robertsdale, AL is a manufacturer of your everyday steel utility trailer.

On the low-cost steel trailers the welds and areas next, the corners and the areas not seen from a walk around are the first to show rust.

You could buy the cheapo and then spend time and money to prep it for a real good paint job.
