Looking to put some underwater lights along my bulkhead behind the house. What company does everyone recommend? Seems there are a ton of different companies that make them.
Yes they are interenally weighted. You just throw them in and they right themselves. I pull them out once a year. You must run the light at least 8 hours to keep the growth off.
Yes please and if you have any pictures of how bright they are at night would be a awesome. I'm over in Perdido and the water is pretty brown just curious how bright they would look
How deep is the water? That makes a big difference. White is best for deep water.
With Deep Glow lights you clean the outside glass. Its easy. With 8 hours of being on it keeps growth off the glass. The other ones i have seen have a bulb exposed to the elements.
I've had a green glow for about three years. Works great when it works. Sent it back twice for repairs. Tons of fish around it. Similar to what Ocean Master has and the same maintenance required and warranty. When you communicate with green glow you actually talk to the owner. There is a liability with having an underwater light. I would not suggest one if you live where that are a lot of swimmers present.

I have never heard of one shocking someone is all. the one I use to use at pickens pier was 12v that I ran off a small lawn mower battery, it was super bright for getting bait early morning.
The water depth along the bulkhead is approx 3-4ft deep although pretty merky. I planned on putting them a little under the walk way "captains walk" to give the lights some added protection.
Just saying. Might wanna read the small print safety disclaimer OMaster. I don't post FYI for kicks and giggles. If I could get the copy of mine to upload I would post it. It specifically states UNPLUG THE LIGHT if anyone will be swimming in the area.
