After having skin cancer cut off my ears twice, I like a wide-brimmed hat that covers them.

would highly recommend them.

If you lose it within the first 2 year, you pay half price for a new one
Guaranteed for life. If it ever loses color, shrinks, thread comes out etc it will be replaced.
Included with the hat is a story of an elephant trainer that had his hat go through an elephant twice that is a pretty funny read also

My self and the guy I fish with wear them, he lost his over a year ago in the gulf. We never found it, but it was washed up in Texas. The person who found it contacted Tilley, since the hats are registered. Tilley sent Rob a new hat plus his old one which had a turtle bite out of it. Their customer service is amazing.

I absolutely love mine! Hesitated to pay so much for it, but I got one as a gift, now that that I have one I would by another to replace it if I ever needed to.

I have owned many floppy hats, my USMC boonie hat was my favorite before I got the Tilley.

Anybody know of a local place that has a good selection? Gander Mountain only had about 3 different styles. They carried the T3, T6 and one other that I saw.
They had another brand that seemed to be just as expensive or even more so called Outdoor Research. Didn't like them as good as the Tilleys though.
