Default Theives hit me last night- Lake Weiss

It finally happened to me last night. THEIVES ROBBED ALL MY TACKLE FROM MY OL RANGER. Boat was on the lift in our boat house. They came in by boat and took 15 nice old Combo rod/reels and my big tackle bag full of lures. I had left my tackle in the boat for the 8 years since we lived here and never had a problem until now. My guess is a dope head will sell this stuff for pennies on the dollar to get a couple of fixesThey also hit our neighbor but only got 4 outfits from him.

That hurts. What should we BOLO for? Anything that will stick out? I suspect it was young kids trying to up their gear. I doubt a crackhead would have a boat to go out pillaging things with. I am sorry to hear about your misfortune, though. Seems like there is no longer anywhere safe for people or property. O*D*W

That sucks
To bad you didn't have a camera or something, unfortunately even if you did catch them they would probably only get a little slap on the wrist.

Sorry brother that sucks, keep a eye on craigslist. Maybe the crackheads will try to sell your stuff there and you can catch them.

Question

That sure does sucks, did you have any ID marks your equipment to ID it?

Did you report it to JOHNNY LAW and see what they tell you, maybe prints?

What about your insurance, did you report it to them?
