Default Thanks Jaster!!

I took my nephew out Friday evening to fish at the three mile bridge. I am not familiar with fishing there so I anchored underneath the bridge and let out a pretty good amount of scope to get over top of the rubble and not hang my anchor in it.. A storm was moving through and the wind shifted and picked up. I waited too long to get all the lines in and by the time we got ready to pull the anchor it was white capping pretty good and we were being pushed back through the bridge between another set of pilings than we had anchored in between. I decided to tie the anchor line to an orange juice jug and get away from the bridge.
I watched the lightening off in the distance and idled around for a little bit then decided to head toward Texar and figured I would come out around dawn and get my anchor. When I got home I posted on his thread about my experience and once it calmed down he swung by and retrieved my anchor to make sure nobody else did. I have never met this guy and don't know him for Adam except for seeing him on this forum and he took the time to do this and save me a trip back out in he morning not knowing if my anchor would even be there Inthe morning.
We did not actually fish very long but the nephew caught several pin fish and catfish and had a good time. One pin fish was almost 10 inches long! Anyways thanks again Jason.

Thanks Jaster!!-image-jpg

This forum has some fine people. Made many new friends here. We may complain about matrix shad or years ago anything from gulp. But when you need a hand or some prayers this place has you covered.

I will load it in the truck Murphy. I will be in Cordova Square in the moning from 10-11. Or can meet ya after get the kids from school tomorrow? Or Tues. Just holler.
Not a problem.

I actually was anchored, after the storm passed 60 yards from it. When I saw your post I told my wife, I bet thats his anchor?? Lol sure enough! That is usually a good spot. Gonna have to give it a go again soon. May keep my moms boat another few days and try it one evening this week since we ate all our fish tonight, lol

Haha, scouting is easy, finding them, well that is another story, lol. My Bama lease has kept me busy this year! I go to BW on days when I only have an afternoon or morning.
