I bought my T-top from a guy that did the exact same thing except his boat rolled over and swamped. Completely trashed the side of his boat and submerged his new e-tec. You wouldn't believe how much sand was in that thing.

We parked at Juana's one afternoon, I think after the Blues. We could not push the boat off the beach. Some guys were heading to the bar and offered a hand. 4-5 guys couldn't budge it. Then one of them asked if my motor was still down. A tap on the trim switch for a second and the boat practically slid into the water on it's own.

Thoughts of this happening were going through my head as this was all playing out. It was not a fun experience.
