Default Swimmer had to be rescued in Perdido Pass

my bro-n-law was on the east side of the pass fishing on the beach with his kids when he heard a help cry.

a guy was having problems off that beach area due to current. He was in about 8 feet of water. A boat was nearby but offered no help. My Bro-n-law was able to get him back to the shore where they waited on ambulance to show up. He was either having a seizure or an asthma attack.

Never understood why people swim in the pass due to the current.

Also, the boat should have quit fishing and tried to help. They made an excuse about the rocks or something.

I hope that you got the number(s) off that boat. It's people like that that give boaters a bad name. JMHO C2

I dont know what your gonna do with the boat numbers but just about every size boat is required to have a readly accessible throwable device that sure would have helped. Too bad most people think of them as seat cushions...

glad the guy is ok

Wow that is just unbeliveable that the people in the boat would not help. Could never just look the other way if some one was in trouble
