My last Cape had Yamahas 200 HPDI's. Strong engines but loud
My new Cape has twin 300 Suzukis. They're very quiet, good low end power

you're comparing apples to oranges, 2-stroke to 4-stroke. So the Zuke is def going to be quieter

I would go with a Mercury. They save the most gas.
