Default Sunk boat on Yellow River

Has anyone heard this? Was told a man was going at an excessive speed and hit a dead head and sunk his boat. He swam to shore and waited for help. Supposedly happened between Log Lake and Ginhole. I wouldn't doubt it because boats were flying up and down the river the last time I went bass fishing and it is lower now than then.

That’s why I don’t try more of the rivers around here.
I would hate to hit a submerged log.
