Default Storm damaged boats/trailers link

Found out today there is a insurance salvage yard just 1 mile from my house. Here is the link to register to look at what they have, and to be able to bid on items. I drove over to the yard this morning, hundreds of boats and rv's.

Could you be a little more specific about the location of the salvage yard? In order to look at what is available on the link you provided a location is required.

Once you register on the website, you can search for closest items to your zip code. There might be a few opportunities in that pile of trash, cars, boats, RVs. The vehicles include storm damages, flooding, fire, collisions, etc. But to bid on something you need to upgrade your status, $200, and I saw something about a business license requirement.
Unless it was a metal John boat with a trailer, I wouldn’t risk money on anything listed.

I was mostly interested in a leaning post and or electronics that might still function.

google map Caswell Rd in defuniak - the IAA yard is at the corner of 331 and Caswell. fwiw, it's my understanding you have the buy the whole unit. they do not cut and part out components there. so if you want a leaning post, you have to buy the whole boat. I cannot confirm that 100%, but I believe that's right. I saw a super nice camper there the other day that had been stolen and recovered. still looked new inside and out. somebody's gonna get a good deal on that. and as mentioned above, I believe you need a dealer's license as well.
