Default Spanish Mackerel leader

Specifically looking for suggestions as to fluorocarbon leader pound test for topwaters, etc. when fishing for Spanish mackerel. Thanks !

30lb seaguar if you want flouro but I would just use straight mono

If you are going to use mono, go 50 pound. Big spanish will blow right through 30 pound. 50 pound too.

40lb fluoro and cheap pomp jigs. Tie your initial leader long as you're going to lose a few jigs.
