Default So Spanish on sabikis?

I usually use my sabiki off of the dock to catch some pinfish for my bait. Well I guess there was a school of spanish that decided to hang around the dock all day and I was pulling up 2 or 3 at a time! Caught around 19 but could only keep 10. Does anyone else use sabikis for spanish?

They didn't tear it up? I've had them hit sabikis before but they usually just steal the hooks. What kinda line you got on that thing?

Haha I won't lie the big ones do take the hooks but I was able to jerk em up quicker than they could bite the actual line! I went through about 3 or 4 sabikis but it was definitely worth it to fill the cooler

you must have a hell of a dock if the spanish hung around all day.

That has to be a ninja sabiki. Was at Perdido Pass last year and totally got 3 sabikis trashed by maks as they were in bait schools going thru slashing everything!

Just like fishing with a triple or quad straw. Same thing.
