Default Snorkeling Pensacola Beach?

I was booking my annual dolphin cruise that I take my students on and noticed the company had snorkeling tours on Pensacola beach. I didn't know there were any reefs off the beach. Is this something you can access from the beach or is it a few miles out? Anyone every done this? Is it worth the $55? I'd rather not mention the company name, but it's one of the big ones on the east side of the bridge. I watched a couple youtube videos and they didn't look very impressive.

There are a couple of snorkeling reefs just east of Portofino, just off the beach.
There’s also some at Navarre. Google it, I believe they have cameras on them that you can watch.

all of the "snorkeling reefs" are accesible from land, the bob Q, the one off portofino, and the jetties at Ft. Pickens. I dont think i would pay for someone to take me to those places.

Aren't there some snorkeling reefs in the bay just opposite "chicken-bone" beach and at the state park in Navarre beach east of Juana's?

There is one across the road from Juana's in the sound at Navarre. There are posts in a square marking it.
I paddled over it in a kayak last year, looked down and couldn't see a thing. I think it would have to be an especially clear water day to see anything.

Navarre Reefs brochure with locations and details. The Gulf side reef was contracted to be enlarged quite a bit since the brochure was made - don't know if it has been done.

Several Youtube videos online. The video at the official site is a recording of lots of cigs.
