Has anyone used the Williamson Sailfish and Dorado Catchers while slow trolling 1.5-3nmph? I plan to pull them between Destin to Pensacola from second sandbar to approx 4 miles out looking for Palegics out of my kayak Hobie PA14. I have had great success with dusters on Mahi and Kings now looking to knock a few others palegics off my list. Also these are prerigged with an 8/0 J hook and 130lb mono. Should I leave lures as is or modify to pull a dead bait or strip behind lure? Thanks in advance for input.

If you are going to pull something like that at slow speed I would add some meat to it, like a ballyhoo. Don't see why it wouldn't catch fish, although I am sure the kings will eat you alive.
