Default Since I took the photo's, here is the hottest Snook spot in Citrus County right now.

I am too old to negotiate the rocks now days. I've caught lots of Snook here over the years I have been here. I watched a friend catch one way oversize this evening. He was across the river and it was too dark for a photo.

Photos taken with JLW's old camera. Thanks Joey.

That's where I use to fish. The outflow from the power plant. That was a fun place to fish. My BIL had a 10' alum. jon boat we would paddle across & tie up to the barells. I've seen sharks & manatees that were just as big or bigger than us.

Default My photos make this look bigger than it actually is--Also Anclote

I worked at Anclote from 1975-1977 as Plant Chemist. My office overlooked the canal at a distance of maybe 80 feet. Sometimes it was hard to work. The outfall canal was much bigger back then. Well, bigger than the last time I saw it 5-6 years ago. The plant is operating on natural gas now and is probably running most of the time on the cheaper fuel. Maybe the canal is wider now. I caught tons of fish there.

The spillway in Inglis is another honeyhole at times.

I was using an ultralight at Anclote, throwing at pompano and hooked to a 30# plus permit. Watched all my line disappear. Great speck fishing there in the winter.
