Default Shrimp....things?

I got an email from a friend that bought some shrimp from a retail place in Panacea, and these were on them, not sure what they are and a quick Google search didn’t turn up anything. I assume it’s some sort of parasite or maybe a spawning function, but I figured someone here would know for sure. Thanks.

Not a parasite, part of the innards, comes out when you head em most of the time.

Have seem them too. Look like a parasite similar to a stage in the spaghetti worms found in trout and black drum. Will pay more attention next time I clean shrimp but don't recall seeing them in our bay shrimp.
