We were down for a 10 day trip. 2 of our party went to the bay to scout one day. They found 5 scallops. We got the boat into the water on one other day and slayed the sand trout and sharpnose sharks! The rest of the trip was way too rough to get the boat in the water. One day the forecast was 8-11ft!!! Came home 3 days early...

Any deep spot in the bay. Just drop a bottom rig and catch a pin or croaker, Cut him up in dime sized pieces and drop him back down. If you don't have a bite in 30-45 seconds, you got taken on the way down. 4 of us caught 30-40 each! We let most go, kept a few for the fryer. :-)
