Default Sad day... last flounder

Sad to have broiled the last whole flounder in the freezer. Glad to have eaten it. Spring run is right around the corner.

Was the biggest of the last 3 we gigged. Picked about a pound of meat for tacos after we gorged on the "dark side". Probably my favorite fish.

Also had steamed veggies and dressing. Solid meal.

LOL when I clicked on this, thought I saw "boiled". Glad it wasn't, looked like a fine meal.

Default Spring run

When does the spring run begin and how long does it last? What type places do you catch them? Thanks
