Default Rod Recommedation

What is a good boat rod that I could use for jigging to pair with a penn battle 8000? Thinking about the Quantum Boca. Any thoughts?

quantum boca is a really good rod for the money!
Hot Spots has a good selection of them!

i have used a boca rod, as i have several of their reels(30 & 60 PTs). but as with most rods the reel seat has a plastic tightening ring, and with the boca it broke. there is not a better rod on the market in my experience(40 years in the gulf and icw) as the okuma cedros jigging rod. i've caught everything from tarpon, wahoos, snapper/grouper, cobia.
as you can see, they are overbuilt.

Shimano Trevala. I have both my Penn International Torque reels on Trevala rods. They have good action for jigging. But jigging is too much work for me. So I use them for bottom fishing and they are very sensitive and still have the back to pull the big snapper out of their holes.
