How difficult is it to get a lost vessel title replaced? Is it as easy as going to the tax collector's office and having a new one printed right there? Or is there a bunch of crap to go through?

Go to the tag office and they will print you a new one for 10 bucks. (if you own the boat)

Never had to do it myself but you could probably do it online and save the trouble of going to the tax collector. Most new purchases now you only get an electronic title but can get the paper if you ask for it. Do a search on the TC office and you should find the link to take you there.
