Default Remember your 1st tackle box?

We have had our 1st fish but how bout remembering your 1st tackle box?

I was in elementary school (guessing 2nd-4th grades) in New Orleans and my 1st girlfriend (Shannon StClair) gave me this tackle box as a birthday gift that had nic nac tackle but the coolest thing w/ the tackle box she gave me was this 3 bladed Imperial knife! Can you imagine that happening today??? The tackle box now stores weird/different shells that I have found over all the years of living in FL! I pride myself on taking care of my gear so you can see, I still have my 1st tackle box I got when I was in elementary school (8-10 years old meaning it was 33-35 years ago) and I have pressed that into my children!!!

I had a couple of Plano boxes kind of like that one. Lost them in a storage fire or something like that.

Yes. I still have the metal tackle box given to me in the late 1950's. When the time comes, my ashes will be put in this box, and buried at sea. The circle will be complete.

i had the same knife as a kid wouldn't hold a edge for shit...but I was so proud of it..I felt very grown up at the time...that was 45 years ago it's funny how a object can take you back in time.

small (about the size of shoebox) green umco bought in 1969 now used for crappie tackle. On a bad day fishing my uncle laid his cigarette on it and burned a hole in the top

My first was a cheap plano that broke quite easily. The first I used a lot was this plano tray that came in a pink cover that said fisher girl. Bought it at the outcast sale and it had a bunch if lures in it fer a couple bucks. My buddies made fun of me for it but it was all I needed for fishing bayou chico and it was very convienent. Probably won't get buried in a pink fisher girl tackle box though...
