Nice, might have to pick up some of those and try them on the Eglin ponds!

A very neat bait with a good action and multiple retrieve styles. I have not fished it enough to comment on its catching ability.

When I fished FW, best I ever used was the. Bagley’s Bango lure.

No. If we are thinking about the same "one-knocker," that is simply just a bomber/heddon/excalibur/other brand that has one, large, brass bearing for a rattle vs several steel shot. The stutter step is a top water that will "walk the dog" without having to work the rod. Cast and reel. You can work it to give it more action though.

First of all - I'm a One-Knocker fan and this ain't that. This top water lure is in the shape of a swim bait but in hard plastic that curves up on both ends. It sits almost totally on the surface with very little of the lure under the surface. This causes the lure to "walk" very easily. It practically spins in a complete circle depending on how it's walked. With very short twitches, it almost walks in place causing the lure to remain in the "strike zone" longer. And it has a good high-pitch rattle. I'd never heard of this lure until browsing in Academy last week.

I feel like it falls in the realm of a whopper plopper. It will work to catch fish but it’s still not an original spook or Sammy. Just my 0.02.
