I'm 13 an I have been looking at 2 different Spinning reels from Penn. An I'm open to suggestions on reels but nothing to expensive. But Between the Penn Pursuit 2 an the Penn Fierce which would be better for inshore fishing on the beach for really anything that is there, but mostly reds an shark. An also what types of line would you prefer for the 2 reels. Thanks

i have not used the new pursuit but you can not go wrong with the fierce. i had a 5000 model and it was very good for what your targeting. throw some 20# or 30# braid with some 15# mono backing and you'll be good to go.
If you want to step it up a little without breaking the bank look at the penn battles. they are awesome reels. tank banger likes this.
