I think I?ll give the braid another chance and look for some at the Outcast sale today. I think I?ll go with Suffix.

Suffix all day.

Less knots (you don't have to worry about that with a 4/0 though), more flexible line (makes it easier to get the few knots out) and all around just a better product.

You could go with 30 on the 4/0 but you might want to check diameter vs capacity and see where you can best balance your line strength with amount on the spool. Could probably get up to 60 on there and still have loads of line on.

If you can find the tuff-line in the salt and pepper color that is the best braid for bottom fishing hands down. It is a little thicker than the other braids but the abrasion resistance is much better. The stren super braid is also very good. Just don't buy power pro. Scene power pro snap too many times. Their quality control is terrible.

Go with a round braid. DONT USE POWERPRO! Stick with like suffix or Ohero braid.

I have never used the Sufix but will have to check it out.I like the Diawa Boat Braid for Jigging and the Tuf-Line XP for the bottom bumping.
