Found this picture while rummaging around an old box. Shot this bugger around 90-91ish I guess.

Heck man we had to run 20 miles to get in 60ft off Clearwater. If i recall, I shot him on a small ledge in 80. We had a wad of good bottom in that range where we routinely slayed nice hogfish. I have only caught 2 on hook and line. Both on live shrimp fishing for mangrove (black) snapper.

I hear ya, I don't dive anymore but sure made a good bit of money spearing those. One good load of trigger and hogs would pay my monthly insurance, gas and fun money in high school! Dove 3 times a week when school was out.
