Default Plastic License

Bought my Fishing License online this time, saw the option to have a Plastic Copy sent for a few more dollars. Got the plastic in the mail today. Pretty cool looking. The backside has all my personal information on it.

The ones I always got from a Tackle Shop or Wally place in the past faded. I did print the paper one when I bought it last week and carried it for a three Scallop Trip to PSJ last weekend.

But this one is now in my wallet, and it won't fade. Too bad it is signed by some artist.

Mine came in the mail today also, so much easier to store than that piece of paper that liked to fall apart when it got wet, and replacing it 2 times last year almost paid for a decent card, now if they would figure out how to renew it without a new card for a year or two it would be perfect.

Get it online or on you phone. Much easier plus all you really need is the number. If you get stopped they can look up the number. But what you got is cool.

Much better idea than paper . I got checked the other day, while red fishing with Scott 44. I couldn't hardly read mine and I don't think the officer could either. But I passed inspection.

Yeah they have had this option now for I think 2 years now and it only costs like 4 bucks extra well worth it to me. I like the new design on it very cool.

Mine wasn't readable either,I think they were just looking for whoever shot that manatee at the boat ramp.

Default Patience and no license needed

Okay Youngsters, just hang in there and you can use your Florida Drivers License when you are over 65.

Last year my friend Tex and I were fishing the bay for Spanish when a FWC Officer asked us to stop. No problem, he was polite and pleasant. Asked what we had caught and we said some small fish which we released.

I asked if he wanted to see our licenses. He laughed politely and said not necessary . I guess a white beard and hair made us look older ;-) ?

Live long and prosper!

There's a chip in it and a tiny webcam in the eyes. They know where you are and are watching
That's a much better option than the paper that doesn't hold up so well. Picture on that one is very cool! Well, minus the cam

I bought my son his lifetime last month and they sent his on the same card. It's definitely better than having to have a piece of paper folded up in your wallet that fades out after a few weeks.
