mpmorr (10/26/2009) If I were sitting around that fire, I am sure that every time my eyes looked across the fire therewould be a friend looking back at me.
A tear came to my eye on that one Mike. Straight up man-love right there.

brnbser (10/26/2009)There have been a couple of threads and posts about it already but I wanted to throw one up here to give everyone a chance who may not have seen those.

Having a get together this Sat night (Halloween) at my house. Will start around 6 or so. Pit fire in the back yard. I'll have plenty of coolers full of ice, ice for mixed drinks, sodas and throw out some snacks. I know LITECATCH is supposed to bring some BGE goodies also. Kids are welcome if you choose, my daughter's (11 and 13) will be touring the neighborhood and it's an extremely safe area...speeds bumps, lot's of families out, etc.

The address is: 2443 Crockett Street, Cantonment.....easy to find....whether your coming from I-10 or Pcola.....take Pine Forest (or Exit 7) north under I-10 about two miles to W. Roberts, hang a left, go one block, hang a right on Crockett and I'm about 3/4 of a block up on the left.

A few members have offered up some firewood and I hope to get with them towards the end of the week. Come on up and bs around the fire with a cold beverage......
i can literally hit a golf ball to your house out of my back yard... in fact i may have:banghead ill be at a couple other halloween parties that night but if i dont go ill swing by. heck i could ride my beach cruiser over there

depending on which side of crockett you live on.... i live at the end of portobella. i can see houses on crockett through the woods if im standing up in my practice treestand in my backyard. we normally hit the golf balls pretty straight down the middle of the woods though so im sure your safe.. not too much "drinkin and driving" lol

no, nothing like that Kenny, this is just a bunch of PFF'ers getting together at my house to drink a few. talk forum, fishing, hunting and bs. Bring your drink of choice and a snack to throw out if you wish.

as far a getting there from Ensley, that's basically where I'm at.......take a left going north on 29 on W.Roberts (by the Tom Thumb) and go down about a mile or so to Crockett and hang a right.
