Default Perdido Pass Open?

Someone said that Tacky Jack's FB page says that pass is open? Any truth to this?

We tried to get to Tacky Jack's this past Saturday and were turned around before we even made it to the Caribe condo's and told everything past that point was close to boat traffic...

On a positive note...Pirate's Cove is still accessible by boat.

The pass itself is open. There is that gynormous steel boom stretching across, but you can motor through that. Don't know if non-commercial traffic is required to go to de-con, however, we have been advised that the fines are heavy for bringing in a boat caked with oil and producing a sheen. I would do a visual regardless... Decon is "Capt Dann" and he is on 17 VHF
