a lot of times when a boat is coming close and i have a live bait on a free line or balloon i will wave and point at the line or balloon. if everybody would give a little more thought when passing to close that some of us are fishing top water. please you don't need to pass so close. the olny thing you will get is , youra number 1 reward!

please treat everybody like you would want them to treat you.

merry chrismas and many happy fishing days next year!

I've had my lines run over mostly when I'm fishing off of a bridge or pier. My lines will be sitting out there and then they run them over and get them caught on the engine, on the boat, etc. and ask "did you do that on purpose?" I really just don't know what to say when they ask that other than just stare at them with my mouth hanging open :doh

It also amuses me when the laws of navigation become second to the laws of trolling.

While i hate lake Lice/jet skiers whatever you all call them around here, my pet peeve is wind surfers. I have had more of them go over my lines than lake lice have over the years. Must be something i am doing that attracts them as they are not as common as lake lice. I did hook one in the wet suit on his leg once about 8 years ago: Released next to boat, good fight on 10# power pro once he dropped his sail.
